'Metanoia'
In Metanoia, a woman experiences a rebirth, she dies in a capitalist world and is reborn into a utopian one.
The current world is shown as one of low quality, excessive textiles, while the utopia reveals how objects can be reused in fashion, where garments become sculptural, almost like wearable art.
Metanoia confronts the viewer with their own consumption habits and challenges the traditional value of objects. By transforming everyday items into bodily sculptures and presenting them in a luxurious way, the line between the cheap and the exclusive begins to blur.
This creates a new kind of aesthetic, one that invites the viewer to see value and beauty in a different light.
